I used to think that yoga was just for super fit, super flexible people who had miraculous control of their bodies. Betsy dispelled that notion. My yoga journey started at a young age. In 2014, I was diagnosed with cancer, and resumed my yoga practice during chemotherapy and radiation treatments. After my recovery, I wanted to give back, and help others going through cancer treatments. I decided to attend Kripalu School of Yoga for my initial 200 hours yoga training and I have not looked back since. Yoga is a special gift in life. The joy, peace and inner-self connection of yoga is what the world could use more of today.
