I used to think that yoga was just for super fit, super flexible people who had miraculous control of their bodies. Betsy dispelled that notion. I now know that yoga is what I make it out to be, and that by practicing regularly I do feel more fit, more flexible, and definitely more tuned into my body. — Dawn D. (November 2021)

I found Betsy’s gentle Kripalu Yoga approach to be the positive, affirmative, accessible yoga practice I need — a reminder of what I can do and what I can control. Yoga helps me manage my life as I age, enables me to accommodate the changes and challenges of that process. When other yoga classes began to defeat me, Betsy’s gentle compassionate Kripalu approach offered a way forward. — Glenda T. (November 2021)

My yoga journey started at a young age. In 2014, I was diagnosed with cancer, and resumed my yoga practice during chemotherapy and radiation treatments. After my recovery, I wanted to give back, and help others going through cancer treatments. I decided to attend Kripalu School of Yoga for my initial 200 hours yoga training and I have not looked back since. Yoga is a special gift in life. The joy, peace and inner-self connection of yoga is what the world could use more of today.
